Challenge
Decast needed to upgrade its existing silo system with three (3) new identical storage silos as part of an industrial structural upgrade. The new footpad locations had to match the existing civil layout, while the discharge screw conveyors required custom modification to align with a common discharge port feeding into a concrete mixer. The project also called for custom handrail design and a platform extension to meet site access and safety requirements.
Results
KREATOR Equipment provided structural design, custom steel fabrication, and installation services for the new silo system, delivering the project on time and on budget. The upgraded silo structure was successfully commissioned, giving Decast expanded storage capacity with minimal disruption to existing operations.
